a gospel centered, church planting mission in the Highlands of Scotland.
Our mission
LINKING SCOTLAND TO THE
HOPE OF CHRIST THROUGH
CHURCH PLANTING
About the Penners
Brennan and Libby Penner
For the past twelve years, Christ’s love and the hope of the gospel have compelled us to devote our lives to making Him known in Europe through church planting. We spent ten of those years serving in Belgium, helping establish and strengthen two local churches, building relationships, sharing the good news of Jesus, and walking alongside believers as they grew in their faith.
Now, God is leading us into a new chapter of that same calling. We are moving to the Scottish Highlands, where we desire to see the light of Christ shine in communities in need of the gospel.
Our prayer is that God would use our family and ministry to see lives transformed by the gospel and local churches strengthened throughout the Highlands, all for His glory.
Our Prayer for the Church
“to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.”
Ephesians 4:12-13
What We Value
The Local Church is God's Design for Gospel Mission.
We believe God works primarily through local churches to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and display His glory to the world.
Healthy Churches Plant Healthy Churches.
We desire to see churches that not only grow in faith and maturity but also equip and send believers to establish new churches.
The Gospel is Central to Everything We Do.
We believe God works primarily through local churches to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and display His glory to the world.
We plant biblically faithful, healthy, and self-sustaining churches.
Our aim is to help establish churches rooted in Scripture, led by qualified local leadership, and equipped to flourish and multiply for generations to come.
We can’t (and don’t want to) do this alone.
Gospel work takes a team. God has abundantly blessed us with partners around North America and Belgium that want to see Scots connected to the gospel.
